This is my go-to mood board for make-up inspiration, whenever I need to glam up for a day or night out.

These are some of the prettiest faces in the Asian entertainment industry.

1) Fan Bing Bing
This woman has one of the most sought after and versatile faces around.

I love the cat-eye flick, gold metallic shadow and soft glossy nude lips in that first pic above.

She can pull off the I-am-naturally-beautiful make-up look with straight brows and lined eyes too.

Then there is the dark hair, dark brows, rimmed eyes and red lips.

Even colourful eyeshadow which many Asian women shy away from, works on her. Just with copious amounts of eyeliner.
That’a pointer: with skillfully lined eyes, any coloured shadow will look fine.

2) Li Bing Bing
There’s the same trajectory here: dark hair, dark brows and red lips. But perhaps more seductive with a gently arched brow and almond-shaped eyes.

Or brown and smokey cat eye with darker, deeper lipstick.

Then there’s the easy fresh-faced look too.

There is an effortlessness about her beauty.

Which she plays up with simple make-up.

Her make-up is focused on her skin, and on making her look youthful.
So subtlety is key here.
