More organic ingredients in Three Cosmetics

The popular Japanese skincare label Three now contains a higher dose of organic ingredients. The revamped formulas are given the stamp of approval by Cosmos Eco Cert (the international standard for organic and natural cosmetics), and contain up to 100 per cent naturally derived ingredients. This means formulas that are more nourishing for the skin. Each is made with essential oils such as frankincense, geranium, orange peel and petitgrain; botanical oils like tea seed, sea berry and jojoba oil; as well as extracts including carrot root, grapefruit, white tea and lavender. The lovely and rejuvenating natural scents of the formulas will make your beauty routine a true pleasure. The improved products are: *Balancing Point Makeup Remover (S$50) * Balancing Cleansing Oil (S$68) * Balancing Foam (S$58) * Balancing Lotion(S$98) *Balancing SQ Oil (S$150) *Balancing Emulsion (S$110) * Balancing Cream (S$140)

Three Angelic Synthesis Foundation Serum

Japanese label Three Cosmetics’ skincare infused foundation line has been extended with the new – interestingly named – Angelic Synthesis Foundation Serum (S$85). Containing botanical oils and extracts, the foundation is also made with fine powders that mattifies the skin while lending it radiance. A serum-infused foundation that supplements the skincare routine is always a good idea. Lightweight and relatively long-lasting, this foundation gives the skin a more matte finish than Three’s Flawless Ethereal Fluid Foundation. Ideal for those with an oilier skin texture or living in humid conditions. Available in ten shades, the Angelic Foundation is also free of skin-irritating UV-absorbing agents, parabens, and mineral oils. To complement this “bare-skin” makeup routine, Three also launches the Airlift Smoothing Wand concealer stick (S$55) and Ultimate Diaphanous Loose Powder (S$75).

Three Skincare: New and improved

Japanese beauty label Three is known for its quality, effective and fuss-free formulas. To enhance the user experience, it has now launched a new range of skincare with a calming blend of frankincense oil to complement the skincare ingredients. All the products in the skincare line also contain laurel leaf oil (anti-bacterial), hot spring water (ionised alkaline), alpine rose extract (to protect skin). The textures are fine and easily absorbed by the skin. The Treatment Lotion is also formulated with watermelon and eggplant extracts to hydrate skin. While the Treatment Cream boasts kabosu and rosa rugosa fruit extracts to promote cell turnover and rejuvenate skin. The cleansers are also gentle. The Cleansing Oil contains sapote butter so dirt glides off; while the Clearing Foam is formulated with soap nut extract, a natural and gentle alternative to detergent.

Three Point Makeup Spring Summer 2018

These are some of the subtlest makeup products around; just for that hint of colour to make your face look fresh and youthful in a few minutes. Dab on skin, blend, and you’re good-to-go. These new point makeup products from Japanese label Three’s Sprint Summer 2018 collection may all look like lip gloss, but they’re really makeup multi-taskers with skincare benefits. The Whisper Gloss for Eye (S$45) is an eyeshadow/ eye cream. The gel formula has a pearlescent texture and sheer colour to lightly colour/ contour lids for some definition. Just add mascara for brighter looking eyes. The formula contains oils of tea seed, argan, jojoba, evening primrose, rosehip, olive, and meadowfoam; as well as shea butter and beeswax to moisturise. Still, it is surprisingly long-lasting and non-sticky. The Epic Mini Dash (S$43) lightweight gel blush gives a light and fresh dewiness to the skin. Dab on cheeks and blend with finger tips. The product will look good on the lids too. It also contains inca inchi oil and all the oils mentioned above; except …

Three Cosmetics Balancing Lotion and Makeup Review

Launched in 2009, Three Cosmetics is a hit with beauty junkies because it pays attention to the small details. The texture is fine and luxurious; the scent soothing; while the products are gentle on the skin. Each skincare product contains at least 85 per cent natural ingredients, such as the essential oils of frankincense, neroli, rosa damascena, and eucalyptus leaf. They are also blended with ingredients from Japan: marine silt from Okinawa; bitter melon extract from Kyoto; Apple extract from Aomori; camellia seed oil and mandarin orange extract from Shizuoka; hot spring water of Oita; Yuzu seed oil of Kochi and fossilised coral powder from Yonaguni Island. The simple but luxe-feel of the packaging is another plus.  Besides skincare, the brand also offers base and colour cosmetics, as well as haircare.   The Beauty Gazette reviews four of the brand’s bestselling products. Three Balancing Lotion (S$95): A watery lotion that balances and lightly moisturises the skin. Contains sandalwood oil, frankincense oil, bergamot fruit oil, marjoram and rosemary oils; apple and rose geranium waters; bitter melon, …
