This is hands-down one of the most beautiful beauty boutiques in Seoul.
Opened by actress Lee Young-ae of the hit historical palace drama Dae Jang Geum in 2013, Lya Nature is tucked away in the hip Samcheong-dong area, near the Gyeongbokgung palace.
Look out for this quaint store, tucked amongst the cafes and restaurants.
Lee opened the boutique after she gave birth to her twins, and wanted a clean and holistic skincare regime for both herself and the children.
The formulas are made with organic ingredients, and as far as possible, without harsh chemicals.
The offerings are mainly skincare, bodycare, and baby creams.
I think the design of the store and product packaging reflects the streamlined ingredient list.
These ceramic facial bar holders are simple and beautiful. Perfect souvenirs.

And on the second storey, there is even a viewing deck where shoppers can grab a drink, chill, and take in the view.
And if you read Korean, there are books for browsing too.
I can’t think of a better shopping experience.
What I bought:
A pore cleansing brush.
And an organic camellia face oil to feed my obsession with skin oils.

Amazing store layout. Gorgeously minimalist.
